Return of the King just won the Box Office Crown and it was won back just a position later by Avatar, which made more than twice its box office. It is the highest grossing film ever by a long long margin. Nothing has been able to come close in the last 10 years. The only film with the slightest chance is Star Wars Episode 9 the year after next and even that is almost impossible. And all this is with good merit. This film deserves everything. It was a cinematic experience unlike any other. I saw both Titanic and Avatar in theatres and there's no doubt that they were both the two of the best cinematic experiences of my life. Avatar 2 has been in the works for a decade now but is set to come by 2019 now. Strongly anticipating it!

The best action film of all time. It is a pure thrill edge-of-the-sheet two hour car chase. It is wonderfully directed, stylistic, colorful, vivid, captivating and engrossing. This is one film that needs be seen. There's one more pure action film in the list though. But its much higher.

This is the first film to be put on top by somebody.
The most surrealistic and Mind-Blowing film on the list. Sadly this was only put in by two people, Rveant and me. Revant put it on top. This is the third last film to be put on only 2 lists. Its average rank of 11 is the joint 13th best on the list, excluding films that were put on only one list. Two more films that were put on only two lists but with better average ranks, and thus higher scores, are still to come. How far will they reach?

Critic Reviews

Never mind that several characters seem to gain or lose British accents throughout the course of the film. The lack of continuity only enhances the sense of deliciously dizzying disequilibrium.

Surprisingly, and sadly, of the twelve films revealed in the top 50 yet, all are from after 2000. 6 from 2000s and 6 from 2010s. How long will this continue? When will we get the next pre 2000s film?

A great film. A War film, we have more of these to come. Great acting, great story but what makes it excellent is the awesome DIRECTION. The sounds and visuals also play well. We can connect with the lead and that makes it an excellent film

Only 1 film left that it is on only 2 lists.

A worthy inclusion. Was better than Spotlight.

The first film to be on 5 FUCKING LISTS!!!! What? Oh, yeah Nightcrawler was on enough lists that it would be easier to name those who didn't put it in their lists.
Its average ranking was still surprisingly pretty low which lead it to still land only at Rank 28. This is also the 10th film from the 2010s. This was a superb film. Intense, superbly acted and with a wonderfully dark color palette and a superintense chase scene as its climax. This film deserves its position as apparently most think. Lets see which films are going to come now...
