Let me be clear and declare it - This is THE PERFECT FILM. I have watched countless countless films and ths is the closest to perfection ever. The most beautiful animation. The greatest music. The most touching story. The most relatable characters. This is the most flawless film ever. And you can see it - It had an average ranking of 5!!! Every single person who saw this film loved it. I ranked it 2, Saiyyam 3, Pranav 4, Akshit 2. Only ayush rated it low at no. 17.
This is the film, which after seeing it, I selpt instantly and then cried for more than an hour after waking the next day.
You will never ever forget this film. Never Ever

Also, this is the last film from the 80s.

A devastating heart-stab of a movie, this certainly isn't a family film. It is, however, a beautifully constructed, animated drama. Full review

And THE BEST FILM EVER just misses the top 5. Let me clarify, I called grave of the fireflies the perfect most flawless film but I put it at number 2 and this at number 1. Its because this has some very very very minor flaws but what it does correct, it does the BEST. The grandest tale, the grandest adventure, the grandest effects, the grandest Music, the Best characters. Oh God this film is THE BEST at so many things. And you can see it through the average ranking. This film had the BEST AVERAGE RANKING  among all films in 3 or more lists and thats when it was on 5 lists!!! If more people had seen this, this would have been number 1 and I hope it is, the next year.

This is also the only film to be FIRST on TWO LISTS
